You, me and almost everyone else on this forum. We are winners. Or the rest of the country is retarded, idk.

I'm sure I could search this forum for my name and "cerametiallic" and find about 50 posts that tell you that would happen.

Who woulda thought a big turbo car with a race clutch and 4" exhaust would suck in stop-n-go traffic.....

Seriously, there is a reason nobody builds a >350whp "street" miata.

What exactly do you need? I have 2 cars, both 91. That one is the one in my sig with all the good stuff and rust. Other one is clean and repainted but stock.

Original plan was to take both apart, build one good car, and sell the remaining parts (mainly engine, diff, wheels, dash and seats). Everything else would be pretty much free.

If you just want the shell, then free. It's straight and a clean title. Just hideous.

Well it would be ok if it weren't for the clutch ;p

So I test drove a 335d tonight. D stands for BOORING. I expected much more for FORTY THOUSAND DOLLARS. The bastard had a lot of road noise and the power curve was boring. Sigh. I really had my hopes high for that thing.

Back to my original question. I think that the answer is "yes".

I found a cheap NB that looks ok so I am going to get it. I'm gonna put 6ULs on it and some racelands and be done. I would much rather put that $35K extra for the stupid beamer or whatever into other shi like vacations and house crap.

^This. Cheap but fun dailies for the win. Buying an expensive car is just silly, why drop coin on something that depreciates as fast as a brick falling from the sky. Cars really are a liability, not an asset. Not sure why people get that so backwards.

If your after a DD then an NC would really be a good option, you should at least test drive one.

So wait, lemme get this straight:
This potential daily driver doesn't have the hp/lb ratio of a liter bike, doens't spin the tires at 100mph, doesn't shoot 10' fireballs, and doesn't require constant replacement parts?

WHAT A POS

lol
