Nice video, poor N/A NB didn't know what hit him. Maybe he'll grow ***** and go turbo.
Good time BTW.

looks good, but damnit that front end needs some skin. Are you still doing a lot of work on the engine?

nice vid

What do you have done suspension-wise?

I know if I tried a standing wheel spin, my car would shake itself to death.

i dont try to *****, i just remember when putting together my setup i never saw ANY videos, once people turbo its like they never share it.

suspension is ground controls with agx's and some homemade shock mounts and fat cat bump stops. i dont know much about suspension theory for drag racing, but someone was telling me stock is the way to go.

i am really going to try to get a 8.5 out of it when i get the camber zero'd out and figure out the best tire pressure and get my torsen in. then once i get that done its time for a little more power and try for a 8.2 with my body panels all on :gay:

talked to the owner of the nb after the race and hes looking into a begi kit i think he said. i pointed him to this site for some research.

For tire pressure just run your about 25 or so psi these tires have stiff sidewalls anyway so you can atleast get a few MPH out of the expansion. The run was very clean man like i said before you did very well. Great driving.

I bet with front skin you'd pickup 1-2mph in the 1/8th.

man i think i agree. it really feels like it struggles at 60 mph, looking at my vacum gauge i have to give it about 4 more in/hg to stay at the same speed than i had to. i am hoping the extra weight vs the loss of drag will be minimal. itll help counter some of the weight i think. at 100mph the car feels like it stops moving.

still getting 24 mpg though 2 better than stock, and i beat the **** out of it every time i drive it now since i dont commute with it

It's good to see that CSCC still has some grass roots guys. Some of the most enjoyable times I've ever had with cars was hang'n out at CSCC autoXs.

my shitty 96whp car gets about 7mph on the long straight at hallett (85mph vs like 92mph) with the hard top. I bet he'll get a ton more than that considering he's well into 2x the power...and probably a similar trap speed.

I was erring on the conservative side. I used to get 2-3mph in the 1/4th by taking the wing off my Talon.
