Have you ever parked next to a Ford Excursion? Holy feelings of insignificance Batman!

Braineack 06-07-2007 11:16 AM

yeah, i've parked next to worse. My co-worker just put that lift kit on and tires and took some shots...just looks so tiny in these pictures.

y8s 06-07-2007 11:40 AM

I almost got run over by a lifted Hummer a couple months ago. The idiot was behind me on the highway talking on his cell phone. He was in the same lane as me and then proceeded to get into the left lane and pulled directly alongside of me and then entered back into my lane. Thank god for boost. I downshifted and rocketed back in front of him. Stupid idiot. Watching his Hummer enter my lane It was like I was in a go-kart looking up at a normal car.

We might as well be driving go-karts!

more people pull over and me and not see me than when I rode an R6.

Yeah the miata's size compared to my '99 4WD ranger is ridiculous and my ranger is tiny. I think it's a perfect combo though. The truck is big enough to tow the miata but not so big that gas mileage sucks. Hard to beat having two vehicles, unless of course you have 3.

Get a big horn. I have a Fiam low tone truck horn in parallel with my original horn. People used to ignore the oem horn when I blew it. Now when I hit the horns, people freak out looking for the "truck" that blasted at them. It's quite funny sometimes.

cjernigan 06-07-2007 05:32 PM

That would be so awesome to mount a train horn with a small compressor tank that you could refill once in a while just for such situations.
That Fiam horn is available at most autoparts stores isn't it?

SMRACER 06-07-2007 06:33 PM

The crazy red Italian sells a replacement horn that is supposed to be much louder and better than stock. It hink it is $45. It is on my to do list because I am tired of people not hearing my weak ass horn.

Atlanta93LE 06-07-2007 06:40 PM

I have dual air horns on mine. Cheap (~$20), loud as **** and easy to wire in. If properly wired in, the delay isn't bad, but if you use the stock wiring only, it is delayed and rather quiet.

Flippy02 06-07-2007 08:16 PM

it's not small it's just right...
one time i parked my car at the end of a parking lot, and when i came back out, i thought it was stolen, it turned out, two full sized trucks parked on both sides of my car.

LOLA - 92 06-07-2007 09:02 PM

Just run your motor for a while until you have the full smoke screen going on and nobody would be able to see anything or any difference between the two of them. :gay:

I can't even hear the stock horn over the radio. The first mod I did to the car was the Stebel Nautilus. I'd love to hook it up in parallel with a Fiamm low-tone truck horn for comic relief, though. The stebel is plenty loud.
