Speaking of Indy Car...

Would you rather see an Indy Car or NASCAR race at Watkins Glenn? Can't decide which I'd rather go see this year.

I've only been to one Indy race in my life, at Kentucky. It was a shockingly boring spectacle. Granted, some of that has to do with the layout of the course, but in the same way that the NASCAR guys can be a little too rough & tumble, I find that Indy drivers seem to be so terrified of touching another car and obliterating both that they seem almost timid about passing.

Now, imagine LeMons running the Glenn. :bigtu:

Indy.

I vote Nascar... MORE RUBBIN IS RACIN. Fenders are there to be used.

However. there might be more talented drivers in the Indy Pool...

Tough Decision.

I'd personally like to go to the 6-hour Rolex series event, but there a conflict in my szhedual.

Seeing some of the NASCAR drivers trying to turn right can be quite a spectacle, I'd imagine. There's also bound to be some pretty spectacular wrecks, more so than the IRL cars.

i vote touring car or rally. or some sort of miata race. everything else just seems so.... i dunno. sterile.

marinerblue92 05-28-2009 05:38 PM

Indy without question. NASCAR bores me to tears, even when they turn both ways.

dpexp 05-28-2009 06:25 PM

Indy. Ill be there for Indy at the Glen. NASCAR isn't racing, its crashing.

gman3 05-29-2009 10:53 AM

Indy for me. Ive seen nascar ar daytona and indy at homestead and way prefer indy, especially if it was a road circuit

gospeed81 05-29-2009 10:54 AM

+1 for Indy...seems the only way to go. Maybe less contact/excitement, but seems the purer sport.

Braineack 05-29-2009 10:55 AM

blah, now i might not even be able to do indy and will have to do nascar. I don't care either way because I don't follow any, I'd have preferred Indy myself. Maybe Boris Said will be out that weekend and make up for it...Nascar is a bigger event too, which makes it less enjoyable, i hate people.

dpexp 05-29-2009 02:51 PM

I invited my cousin to come down for Indy at Homestead, and he invited me to Indy at the Glen. When I found out The presidents the United States of America were in concert at the Glen, that was it. Also I couldn't be dragged to a NASCAR event. Indy fans can appreciate the Miata, NASCAR fans would just call you a fag.

Braineack 05-29-2009 03:32 PM

oh shit yeah they are, i gotta make that weekend work out. plus you ------s will be there too.

dpexp 05-29-2009 03:38 PM

KItty on my foot and I wanna touch it.

kotomile 05-29-2009 07:09 PM

Call me jaded, but I find Indycar and NASCAR both pretty boring.

I didnt know they could turn right in NASCAR?

The only racing I find exciting in real life is NHRA Top Fuel.
