The stupidity is running high lately on idiot.net
Where are some of these people coming from? Seriously? I don't know whats worse...the guy claiming that he has never had a car with a rev limiter and wondering why Mazda put one on the MSM but his 95 GMC truck can 'peg out' the tach, or the guy who was wondering why he has clutch shudder with a light flywheel and 6-puck clutch, or the guy who doesn't know how to get the oil filter off his NB, or the guy who said running low profile tires could result in the sidewall rolling over and scraping the rim on the ground during hard driving....

Maybe it is some sort of disease that spreads thru cyber space. I think we should quarantine MT.net soon, just to be sure.

I do get your point about the different mufflers, but I'm not wishy-washy at all like you tried to make me out to be. I really don't care that much about the looks of an exhaust system as long as it's built better and/or less expensive than the name brand "nicer looking" ones. I don't understand why it's a hard concept to grasp for some. He uses a Borla muffler on this series with aluminized piping and prices it the same as the stainless Borla system. Hopefully I don't have to explain that aluminized piping is a little inferior to stainless steel in durability, and costs less as well. And all it takes are a pair of eyes to see that the Enthuza budget exhaust on his website doesn't look as nicely built as any of the name brands. I'm entitled to ask why someone is charging the same price for an inferior product. Sorry if it struck a nerve. The only arguments that could be made that would make any sense are that the Enthuza exhausts he delivers to his customers look better than what he chose to put on his site, that he actually uses stainless steel and not aluminized pipe, or that his price has dropped. OR that the Borla muffler he uses is superior to the one Borla uses on their catback. That could be the case as you suggested, but Enthuza makes no claim to that. With all that being said, I'm sure he makes a good product. I hope that helps explain my point, if it doesn't I really don't know what to say. Thanks for your time and have a good one. |
