Too bad he didn't jdmdrift all the way down the hill.

miatamania 02-07-2008 01:02 AM

At night...

All initial D style...just...not a good idea.

I have no problem with people driving fast, but as a motorcycle rider, I find it really annoying when people cross the line like that. It pisses me off when someone comes flying around a blind corner in the wrong lane.

We can only hope for natural selection.

What's sad is these selfish retards think they are actually good drivers pushing the edge and being brave.

We can only hope he doesn't natually select someone else to check out with him...

m2cupcar 02-07-2008 08:50 AM

selfish is right- absolutely no consideration for anybody else on the road. Wanna impress me? Hit the road course and whoop my ass with less power.

thats how my miata was involved in a wreck, damn redneck's SUV couldn't make the corner in his lane? :dunno:

JDMAflac 02-07-2008 12:18 PM

I think he's actually on this forum

As a miata driver...I get pissed when I see people cross the line like that.

It takes more skill to stay in your own lane anyway...

The chase car (Gyrenejoe) is a friend of mine in Cali. I moderate a political forum for him. He's got a sweet M3, lots of suspension mods.

That was filmed about a year and a half ago. Joe sent me this vid after I told him I got a Miata. It was very early in the morning (3AM?). They use that stretch because it is out in the middle of nowhere, and all but deserted even during the day. They also station cars at the top and bottom to warn of other motorists, via cellphone which the passenger carries.

The car you see coming up the hill towards the end is another member of the group climbing the hill in order to do another run. Not quite as irresponsible as it appears.

I dont care what kind of twist you try to put on this, it still is very irresponsible. Take it to a real track. Everyone is going the same direction there and they'll have emergency personal if you get in over your head.

Zabac 02-07-2008 03:31 PM

i still think its dumb as shit to cross lanes like that, i dont care what time or place, acidents are not planed over time, they happen in fractions of a second...the guy in the vid is a fuckface for it, i dont care how cool of a guy he may be
stay in your lane for others sake, not yours

I don't care where the fuck the road is, or what time of day it is. Using both lanes like that, especially at night, is fucking stupid.

If he's on this forum, he should probably stay quiet, unless he wants to get banned fast.

miatamania 02-07-2008 06:14 PM

lol, kinda like F&F when they blocked off the road to drag race...

because that was still a safe and amazing idea...

messiahx 02-07-2008 06:21 PM

I will admit that it does look cool, but really, that is definitely some of the dumbest driving that I have seen in a long time. Closed course? Go for it...otherwise, keep in your own damn lane. I see so many people cut lines when turning it'd ridiculous. I can't count the number of times I've almost been hit on this one particular 4 lane twisty road near the local mall.
