Default T-FLEX Free solid modeling package

A colleague of mine just showed me this. It is a student edition solid modeling package with FEA. The interface is very nice, very intuitive, at least compared to Pro/E

Anyway, thought some of you fellow engineer/designer types might be interested. I think the way they neuter it is to limit the export capability. Ah, wait, here is the neuter list

How is the FEA software thats integrated? The FEA integrated with solidworks can only do real basic crap, and I cannot find of copy of ansys.

Side note, Pro/E sucks big *****.

I do not know. I have not used it. I suspect it does basic linear steady-state stress and steady-state thermal.

I may try it but I am not in an urgent need since I am a regular Pro/E user at work. As much as the interface sucks I know how to use it well so it is not a big deal.

Looks good, it won't let me register though. The tutorial won't download either but I'll have a go at it anyway. Thanks.
