Wow, who the ---- would think taking that thing around the 'Ring is a good idea? Especially full of all sorts of crap.

Favorite part: idiot becomes airborn sideways...this is the exact moment of defecation lol.

lmao didn't know it was a crv. Saw this on another forum, lold.

gearhead_318 04-12-2012 11:21 PM

And the guy in the F-150 Raptor was fine.

Possibly Tanner Foust in the Raptor BTW.

hustler 04-12-2012 11:56 PM

Crashes always sound so scary in person or with video like that. When you hear the crunching, its not funny for me.

+1

The ring has close barriers, but you pay by the meter you hit. I wouldnt recommend jumping them to save money though.

Hope whoever was driving is ok.

elesjuan 04-13-2012 02:11 AM

Need I say it?

Another effing idiot in a honda.

Thanks Jason, I seriously Lol'd at all the crap flying out of it.

:bowrofl: Dood, your hate is so misplaced

icantthink4155 04-13-2012 08:44 AM

How do they let you out there with a ton of ---- in the car?

Faeflora 04-13-2012 08:58 AM

When you, as a people, selectively exterminate a couple million "other people", letting someone leave all their crap in their car really is not much of a faux pas.

Slider 04-13-2012 10:55 AM

Raptor on the nurburgring, like a boss

Preluding 04-13-2012 11:16 AM

I wonder how the baby and baby seat handled that??

It's Germany. They don't care - if you do something stupid, tough ---- and we'll charge you for the cleanup. It's not like the US, where they try to save you from yourself so they don't get sued.

hornetball 04-13-2012 02:20 PM

Obviously, they need more lawyers in Germany.

Wait . . . am I seeing a connection?

Fae, you undercounted by about 4m.

Need more of this here.

I love how it hopped the wall and landed rightside up.

Funny how you see Germany over there... it's the way we see a lot of things in America over here...

In Germany literally everything is fixed by a law (including the curve shape of a banana - no joke - and the angle of a tip of a lead pencil...)

Greets

I was more-or-less referring to the civil-law difference. In the US, the driver of the CR-V would sue Honda for making a car that can roll over, regardless of circumstance, and for not placing a prominent warning not to try racing in it. He would sue the 'Ring for not stopping him from being stupid. He would sue the local regional gov't for not preventing the 'Ring from allowing him to be stupid. He might even try to sue YouTube for the embarrassing broadcast of his ass-hattery.

In Germany, it's possible for something to be your own damn fault and, sorry, no suit for you!

falcon 04-15-2012 09:27 PM

I am kind of shocked at how many cars were just like 'sucks to be you... PEACE!' and fucked right off. If I was that silver BMW I would have stopped immediately to see if they were ok or needed medical attention.

turotufas 04-15-2012 09:47 PM

I thought I was the only one with...

"flip a rental at the ring"

...on my bucket list.

hochkis 04-15-2012 10:04 PM

The raptor was bad ass.... wonder how many corners he cut across the grass.

JasonC SBB 04-16-2012 12:07 AM

The difference may be that while Germans are obsessed about following rules, the traffic laws are sensible.

I asked a local how come the Autobahn laws haven't spread to neighboring countries. He said, it's because the car industry has a powerful lobby group.

I thought about this for a bit, and said, "Why can't there be sensible laws written without a lobby group? The common man has no lobby group".

That might well be true...

Because they're on track, and there are people trained to respond to that sort of thing, and there are who knows how many cars about to come zipping around that corner, and the worst thing you could do is stop and clog the track and/or create a larger incident because someone runs into your stopped ass on the closed track.
