They're all this hot in Austin. I hung out downtown today and I probably talked to 10 sets of girls chillin outside or in bars in a span of 3-hours. Its fucking ridiculous. It makes me sad to pack my shit up and leave this place.

BarrigaNA 04-03-2009 05:52 PM

Should check out this road...

4000-8500 in elevation climb
100 miles long
1000+ (some say 1800) turns, curves and hairpins.

It's the red line. Route 191/Corando Trail or Route 999 as it use to be called.

hustler 04-03-2009 05:53 PM

don't gay up my thread with some bullshit I don't give a fuck about. GTFO and never post here again or I'll skullfuck your sister.

Where'd you meet him?

Scuba_Steve 04-03-2009 07:09 PM

Austin is a great city, I ran their marathon a few years ago.

Braineack 04-03-2009 07:10 PM

interesting how many different servers you host your pictures on....

wayne_curr 04-03-2009 07:10 PM

I regret not going to austion when I was in Houston this summer. A friend of ours (richer than god) has a plane and flies there frequently from Houston. Could have done it, I was always tired from working my ass off and was convinced I hated texas at the time. If i'm down there working again this summer, i'm going to go for sure.

BTW, the dude in that picture with the tatoo has a nice stomach. Hows that for gaying up your thread :)

m2cupcar 04-03-2009 07:32 PM

hey look there's pat mountain!

Austin in the news: 9 patients made nearly 2,700 ER visits in Texas

Yeah, +1, to all you Californians, Texas in general really sucks. After all, it all looks like West Texas desert, like in the movies. We're all backwards cow-shit-kicking hicks that love guns and know how to use them. But we do have musical diversity since we like both Kuntry and Westurn. We produced three shitty war mongering dumb-ass Presidents, but they were Presidents, so bite me if you do not like it. Reagan was a woos. The only industries here are oil, beef ranching, and gay bashing. The chics are ugly too, there is a reason that picture above only shows midriff. I nailed that chick once, put a bag over her head to keep from hurling.

So you Californicators stay the hell out. Keep buying property in Montana instead. They love you guys there, and they have skiing. What the fuck is snow anyway? I thought it was that stuff that came over the border on the backs of human mules.

BenR 04-03-2009 11:53 PM

why u so sensitive, liddat oni call flame? row boat just mean u spend alot of time in bath tub. so when u eating oso have warmer? u notice when u buy cheese always in cold section? at room temperature it doesnt exactly melt but doesnt exactly solidify.all those cheese dip for biscuits are also sold only that they dont sell cheese dip by itself if they sell cheese dip for biscuit why dun sell cheese dip itself?

tell it to all the companies that moved to austin from silicon valley. there were so many, the direct flights from silicon valley to Austin was named the "nerd bird".

ZX-Tex 04-04-2009 12:35 AM

The Hill Country is covered with great roads from Austin to Camp Wood. I said wood... huh huh huh, huh huh....

Californicators, a great road in Texas is straight and flat, with not too many tumbleweeds in the way. Meaning the roads suck here, especially compared to Montana. What the fuck is a twisty road? I think Hustler is just another natiralized Texun spreadin rumirs abouit them thar twisties.

We have taken that road on bike, hella hella fun road, like a roller coaster with a nice view. There's one turn on that road that's almost too tight for a miata, it turns back on itself so hard even on a bike you feel like you're about to start concrete surfing.

You've finally got a car worth takin' down roads like this and you're bailing on the only town in Texas where your rainbow colored undies fit in?

Sorry to hear.

Hawaii is to the United States as Austin is to California, lol.

The only thing stopping me from moving to Austin after school is the 6 different road courses within a 5 hour drive of my house in SLO. :loser:

we have 7 :) :
the driveway - in austin
harris hill road - in austin
MSR-houston - 3.5 hours away (you're fucked if you ever run with me here)
grandsport - 3.5 hours
texas world speedway - 1 hour
msr-cresson - 3 hours
eagle's canyon - 3.5 hours
hallett - 7 hours (i would wear your face as a mask here)

you can get on the track from $150-200 at either place (hallett is only $100).

naarleven 04-06-2009 12:22 AM

All I know is Daniel Johnston lived there for a long time and they have a pretty good music scene. Otherwise, its Texas and from what I've seen there; its remarkably similar to my asshole (aka godlike).

oops...I've never run msr-h, so you're fucked if you run me at msr-c. Seriously, Fagliardo and I will skull-fuck your soul.

Atlanta93LE 04-06-2009 08:16 AM

MSR Houston is pretty flat, but nice, new, and smooth. It's fun, but expensive unless you have the right hookup :)

I just found out my Uncle and his family are moving from AK to Austin, I visit them every other year, maybe now I can drive, it's only 1200 miles. j/k

^ not helping.

There are no tracks in TX and the place is flat as FL (and more humid and stinks).

I work at ~750 ft elevation and live at about ~1400 ft elevation. My commute is about 30 miles. My property drops 200 feet from top to bottom. Max elevation in FL is about 300 feet. Max elevation in TX is 8750 feet.
:fawk:

Several of those tracks Hustler mentioned are routinely run in both directions, and a couple of them have multiple configurations, so effectively it is more than 7 tracks. And, they run events 8-9 months out of the year. Usually the limiting factor on track time is money and not opportunity as there are several events (races, track days) each month.
:fawk: :fawk:

Keep trying... :)

lol...I don't mind the miata crew moving in, as long as they don't lease bimmers or wear dragon shirts.
