The problem with people on miata.net is that 90% of them think they are car guys but in reality they are not.So when it comes to DIY type turbo kits or any other forms of modifications that are not store bought,they tend to turn their nose's up like a snob on people that have the ability that they don't posess.

I guess you guys are reading a different thread than I am. Ignoring the repsonses from the regulars here, only 1 dude said go with the fm kit. And he's a newb. But the newb does have a point: The FM kit is easy, proven, and warrantied. DIY will save money (if you don't make any big mistakes along the way) but takes a lot more effort and research. Some people have fun doing the build, others would rather write a check. Neither way is right or wrong.

If I had to do things over, I have a lot more knowledge, but very little time. But, I still find it hard to think an AA IC (for example) is worth $1100+ especially when it's put together from a company that can't find their *** with both hands and a GPS - BRP/SOT.
Too bad Tom @ Fast Forward SC is not into releasing an AA IC of his own.

His "e-cool" additional injection is very promising imho. Too bad the powers that be are more interested in sellling high dollar standalones than in developing low cost additional injector controllers. An AIC could be as simple as fitting a bipes with an injector driver.

That was also with a 110mm pulley. I am now running a 115mm pulley and thinking of a 120mm during the cool season.
Also, I am using the Split Second AIC to control the 5th injector and the WI nozzle on two separate "channels".

Thanks for sharing. Love the tq "curve" and the linearity of the power delivery. Looks like your car is very well sorted out, and I'm sure a blast to drive. I would trade my higher tq peak for your flat tq 8 days a week.The SS AIC looks straightforward to me, too. I've heard from some that they are not happy with the reliablity of the SS box, citing that sometimes it would not decide to inject. Looks like the AIC is working wonderfully in your car. I've been a fan of the 2nd fuel rail concept for a while--perhaps it's time to put the money where the mouth is.
