TI-92 Plus Calculator Acting Up
I knew this title would catch someones attention! Yes. I own this brick of a calculator. It's fantastic too. However, the power has recently been acting up. At times, the calculator will not turn on initially, even with full battery power. I take the cover off, remove the batteries and give them some love, then reinstall them. After a few tries, the calculator will turn on again. I have never replaced the 'backup' battery. Could this be the culprit, or is my dinosaur calculator on it's last leg?

When I was in high school, I drooled over the TI-92. 10 years later, still using my TI-83 and TI-86 regularly.

Pick up a TI-89 and be happy.

Yeah try replacing the watch battery. I still rock my TI-85, but lost my cool programs like Asteroids when the watch battery died. So be careful.

I had a TI-85. I also had drug wars.

/thread I use my TI-89 for basic arithmetic. All the stuff we have to do is so fubar that no calculator can help us. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1398346268 |
^ be glad when you actually graduate and work in your engineering field, you don't need to deal with math anymoreeeeeeee....excel will become your best friend.
I had a ti-89 when I was in college. Sadly none of my professors allowed us to use it on exams. So it was pretty much pointless. My best friend is a TI-30X! |
