I have a couple huge checks coming from the Navy that pays for my recent moving around the country that will pay off all our CC debt and am exploring ways to get back into debt on my own dime.

I've wanted to upgrade my Nikon D5000 from the 18-55 kit lens to something better. I'd really want the Nikkor 18-200 but it's $800... so did some homework and am going to buy the Tamron 18-200.

Tamron is having a rebate deal going right now and I can get the lens for $230 after rebate from a couple usual places.

I just wanted to tell everybody that Tamron is complete crap, basically the Kia's of the photo world, second only to Sigma (Daewoo of photo industry) in terms of being complete crap. I wouldn't buy that shiz if it came with a 100% rebate. That stuff couldn't take a good picture of my kids turds, so stay away.

OK, beat everybody to it. Eat a dick, I'm still buying one. Will take pics of wifes **** and you will all still look and make fun of my lack of sharpness and distorted corners at max zoom because you're all ****.
