I can never decide. Its going to be hot, but it seems like more fun to roll, even at the track, with the top drizzzopped.

ya think the HT will give any real advantage? Some claim 5mph on the straight there with the ht.

I really want to do some hot lapping and practice for the Hallett event, but rolling with the top gives me the sad face.

It is worthwhile aerodynamically. 5-7mph according to the SM guys. Even better if you remove the rear window.

Unless you go with the windows up no doubt the car will be quicker with the ht on. With it off you can feel the air whipping the back of your head at 100mph - that ain't fast.
For track events I'd do the top off for the fun of it. Drive to the event with it on, take it off and then if you must set your fast lap, then put it on for the next session.

I noticed no difference, but improved my personal best by 1.55 seconds. Reading "going faster" is paying off a bit.

It is faster with the HT, but for comfort I like to drive a topless car if multiple extended sessions happen.
