Tires for you all season daily?
 

Hey guys. Tires on my Subaru are in dire need of replacement and I'm looking for some good all seasons. I live in Utah so it snows a bit, so basically I want pretty good all season tire because I do like to hang corners in it on the way to work etc.

What do you guys use on your daily drivers as all seasons?

I've been very pleased with Goodyear triple tread all seasons for passenger car use.

Continental DWS. A+ #1.

+1 Absolutely. DWS are awesome tires and just about as good as it gets for all season snow performance.

Just put them on my 335i last week. I like these tires.

I go to onlinetires.com and find the cheapest name brand tire that has an aggressive looking tread. Seriously. Something from hoosier, hankook (lots of hankook), bridgestone, etc. I've been hesitant on Cooper, I think they make good tires though.

Anyways, my OEM tires lasted 21,000 miles, I upgraded from 205s to 215s and they lasted 55,000. My current ones have 5,000 miles on them and look like they'll last just as long as the first upgrade.

I've been happy with any and all all-seasons I've tried. I don't know how much snow is "a little snow", but with your subaru I can't imagine it'd be that picky to tire choice.

Lol yup. I went with BFG sport comp 2 (I think that's what its called). Don't know how good that is going to be in the snow though.

I currently have siped Pirelli P4s on my Subie and they work nice in the snow we just got. Granted I had Falken Azenis on when the snow first fell and I was sliding all over the place...

I'll have to check out the Contis, looks like lots of people swear by them. BFG's are tempting too, I've had good luck with them in the past. They keep the roads decently clear here, the most I've ever had to drive in is an inch or two which you don't really notice in the ru (as most people pointed out), but things do ice up fairly frequently so that's more the issue I guess.

I gave the Comp 2 recommendation based upon participating in a BFG/Discount Tire driving event (posted about it -- it was a blast). It is a Summer tire with really good wet capabilities, which is what Abe was after.

On the snow in Utah? Different animal. Sub'd to see what OP settles on.

Supposed to snow here tonight, and I need to drive home in my G8 GT (warmed up to 420HP) shod with Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Should be exciting!

Continental DWS, it's what I run on my Audi. They work great in the snow, and aren't half bad for regular driving.

I must be the outlier here. I didnt really care for the DWS. My experience was with using them as my 3 season tire with dedicated snows on stock wheels. I suppose it was simple misapplication of the product, I would have been happier with the DW characteristics.
I liked my old Pilot Sport A/S better before the contis and like the current Toyo Proxes 4+ that replaced them.
