Top Gear vs. REDNECKS
|
heheh, suprised I havn't seen that one before. being from the south I can actually relate.
|
:robert: wow i didn't know who to root for
|
I've always liked Top Gear. But every time i watch it on youtube and a family member walks in the room, the first thing they do is start making fun of the presenters for being so British. Annoys the hell out of me.
I lived in England for over a month (study abroad) and LOVED it. Not that I don't like the good 'ol USofA, but I would live there if given the opportunity. |
LOL. What a bad idea..
|
that scares me.
|
WOW WTF was that? Bad idea +1
Im to tired & a lil drunk to even coment on the politics of that not to mention uhhhhhh something called freedom of speeeech and stuffff. uhhhhh goodnight |
Wow, that kinda makes me embarassed to be an american. However, that was a really stupid idea. Theres some crazy fucking people in america who will kill for less than that.
|
RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!
That was GREAT!!!!! Seeing who gets their dumb ass arrested, beat down or shot seems like fun in theory but watching them panic when it actually happens is hilarious. That was great. They make fun of Americans with that piece but let's see if the reaction is any different if we went over there and painted slogans about rival soccer teams and bad teeth on our cars. There isn't a country in the world that some touchy subject wouldn't get that reaction or much worse. |
hahahah
|
Well I don't mind, because they weren't really making fun of America so much as Alabama / the south. that shit was funny, anyone else notice things like Jame's back windshield being shattered. If anything they cut stuff out or just plane didn't catch it on film because they were running. It's funny but, daaaaaamn would I be scared.
|
oh yea that helps our image

Future show suggestions. Drive through Watts wearing clan uniforms. After that it's Beijing wearing Mao masks screaming "communism is for queers" followed by a stop at a Columbian Coca plantation with "just say no to drugs" pamphlets. Maybe human crash test dummy experiments?
Like I said, they thought it was funny as hell until something actually happened. They claimed the people in Alabama were breeding with "veg-uh-tah-bles". The folks at Top Gear are obviously not so bright themselves. Stick to reviewing fast and interesting cars. You won't convince me that soccer ruffians are somehow more refined and intelligent than Alabamans. I can't wait for the clips to show up on Max X. :friday: |
reminds me when i was younger riding in harlem at 2 in the morning(hint 22s on tauras everywhere) of course my friend began screaming remarks, but in nyc nobody can catch you on a bike.

And to think I thought Jackass was idiotic. At least Jackass makes no pretense of being stupid.
Yeah, let's hear it for British sophistication. :rolleyes |
That was hilarious. Does that seriously offend any of you? When was the last time any of you can remember riding in the back of a truck with 5 other shirtless friends going to kick the crap out of some foreigners?
To be fair, our primary sub at my last job was Thales out of England. They were good but not nearly as good as they thought they were. Took awhile but once I grew a thicker skin it wasn't a problem. Actually, once they found out I was a car guy we got along great. |
