Turbo Miata in Atlanta, in Modified Magazine
Reading my latest issue of Modified mag on the can this evening(started receiving it when SCC went under), and I find a decent article on a 94 turbo miata in Atlanta, by way of Brooklyn. The owners name is Sal, is he a resident here? Other than the Miataroadster hood risers(let the flaming begin), looks like a nice car.

I actually met him the night of the photoshoot at a gas station up the street from my house and have talked with him a couple times since.....pretty cool guy and the car is eye-candy for sure.
I wishes I can gets my car in a mag :( |
Fuck Doppel yours deff. should be!!!!

Is that DIY in the background?
|
That car sure is clean, but i've seen plenty of others that would be nicer to put into a magazine than that. The nb in the background is also a really nice car i've seen his pics on clubroadster.
Any stats for the car. |

yes the nb in the second to last pic. I second though that your nb should be in a mag.
|

good luck getting air out of that oil cooler, air through the oil cooler, and that shoudl heat up the IC nicely.
|
Looks like a stock MSM turbo set up, so I doubt it much matters.
99/00 with 01+ headlamps. Pretty bad ass looking car. |

Looks like a nice car but frankly, there are much spiffier Miatas out there. I guess that it is representative of the average nice turbo Miata.
It would be nice to see a big power miata featured in a magazine one day. Eliminator wrote that he might be selling his so hopefully he'll get it featured first... |
Here, this miata should have been in the mag!\

I have mine temporarily located in the same position. No noticeable increases in IATs. Then again this is highway/street logs and no track time.

As far as #'s go, If I remember correctly he is at 247whp. He let them drive it to the track, flog it, and drive it back. The objective of course, was to see what a "real" car is like. They gave it a favorable review. |

I think that is the point of the article, Sal wrote in to the mag saying he is tired of seeing trailer queens, "lets see some real cars". So they said "Ok, show us yours".;)
