I think I'm closer than he is...I've already done my clutch...torsen swap...extra fuel rail, 550s, wideband, I have MS, should be back from Neo soon to install...exhaust + test pipe...wheels wide enough...brakes and suspension to handle it...

Just...no turbo...I had to sell it

I even have an extra motor on the way, rods on the way to build a motor :(

Its a CSP car at the moment though...auto-x isn't this cars main goal, so once its turbo I really could careless when I end up :)

Ever read posts like...idk, I can't figure out how much PSI my wastegate is...or I blew up my rear end...or shit, turbo is on but my clutch slips like something horrible so the car is going down until I fix it threads? I didn't feel like dealing with that so I went ahead and got everything else taken care of first.

I would like to see a few more SM2 miatas.

I would too. I wish it was as big a class as STS2 or CSP.

For SM2, I really would agree with you....but driving the car home...spooling is much more fun.

im NA in SM2, and i still finish first sometimes, butthats because there are no national competitors close to me/my reasonable drivingdistances...lol

I had a turbo kit, clutch, and wideband sitting in my garage for 2 weeks, then had to return all of it(minus FM's stupid fees) :cry: to pay for a car to replace the wrecked one. I guess it's not as bad though as I never actually had it installed.

I really don't want to get to 2k without boost, but it sounds like miatamania is very close. Pull your finger out and just do it!

I joined up before I was really planning on boosting to get ideas, help, information...I think by being a dumbass for a year has helped in my knowledge so when I finally pull the trigger I wont be disappointed or screwed.

I just did the same.

Worse to have boost then go back to NA than to never have boost in the first place. Now I have to give myself more space from oncoming cars when merging into traffic.
