Ugly Cars Looking Good
The cheap four doors thread turned out to be awesome and piqued my interest, and since you guys know so much about weird and forgotten platforms I have a request.
I would like to see cars normally considered ugly, weird or otherwise forgotten looking awesome, through some type of modification, maybe just wheels and a drop or major body mods. 1st rule: No miatas. Those are already all over the site. |

Yes it is. Its just so ugly its cool.
There are very few genuinely pretty cars, that remain pretty forever. Everything else gets ugly eventually. |

So what we've decided on is that just about anything can look good with decent wheels and a more aesthetically pleasing ride height. Also it helps to remove some of the plastic "trim".

240z and 280z are the only z cars that of that vintage that I know of.

I guess its a different model part, theres the S30, the 130z the 240z and the 280z. All use similar model different generations.

lol i have no clue what i meant there. I had a thought but couldnt write it down how i wanted it. Different options of the same model car. I dont know if its by year, i dont know if its by engine, no clue. Sadly those cars are hard to find so the info is scarce on the regular search engines.

The AMC grilles are still hideous but the proportions and shape look good in those pics... I'd call it a success.
