those are made by ronal, the ronal bears, not actually custom but only sold in japan

Back in the early 90's The Tire Rack used to carry them...

I know I used to see those in the Tire Rack ad in Car-and-Driver magazine. I also remember watching over the course of a year as they went from "$1500, Japan only, rare" to "$400, tires and car in picture included".

Looks like bidding eneded and we all missed out on a GREAT deal...

I remember seeing those on a pink Miata when my Dad and I were at Indy in the early 90's.....it just took the Miata to become Barbies ride for the whole chick car thing to take off. A few scenes in movies don't help either.......I have to admit, those would make a funny autocross rim. Mount some R compounds on them, and your good to go!

Saw those Ronals once on a Miata and on a few other OTMs. The deluxe version is polished and has insets for the eyes, nose, and feet. If interested in those woud wait for the polished version!
