Upper Midwest *CHAT* thread.
 

So my "home" forum is still ClubRSX. We keep a MN *CHAT* thread there but for last year or so it's been dying out a bit. A lot of the main group is having their first kids and taking new ventures in life that are sapping up their time to sit and bullshit on the forums. I have no kids or exciting life ventures to speak of, so I'm trying to kick up some semblance of that bs'ing chat thread here with folks who share the same platform as myself. I really should be spending more time here anyways.

I've made some pretty good friends through that venue. Most local but some "forum friends" as well that I keep in contact with from all over.

So with that said, feel free to stop by and spout off about whatever you feel like. What you had for lunch, current garage projects(miata related or otherwise), a shitty driver on your way to work, how stupid you think this thread is.... whatever you feel like bsing about when you get to the point of boredom and just want to distract yourself for a few minutes, as that's what this thread is for.


With all that said, is anyone planning on attending Grid Life in MI this June? A buddy and I are planning on making our first pilgrimage from MN this year. We have camping and everything locked down but didnt manage to snag the pre-sale HPDE tickets. Sold out quicker than my refresh skills apparently. Hope to snag a pair as time gets a little closer.

Sheeeeit, you had multiple? What were your builds like?

I was a poor college pizza delivery driver while I had 02 type S. Made 220/164 with the basic RBC/NA build. Sort of miss it. Would never buy another.
