So about 6 months ago I bought a set of stripes intercooler pipes. I needed the BOV bung cut off and the new flange for my Greddy RS put on as well as the IAT sensor bung for MS put in.

I went to the local shop and ordered the couplers, t bolts and flange for the RS. I gave them the TB pipe and IAT bung that I already had from DIYautotune. He said they would do it for $20, good deal for me.

2 weeks went by before the RS flange came in. Long time, but I was in no rush. After 3 weeks I started calling every other day, by the 5th week they said their welder broke and they couldn't do it. I was irritated, but it was still winter and I wasn't working on the car anyway.

They hand me back my TB pipe and RS flange, but no IAT bung. Now I'm pissed. I gave him the DIY address and he said he would have it there asap. It's now 3 weeks later and he told me that DIY was slow to ship and they didn't have it. BS, DIY had it to me in 3 days and was great to buy from. So he told me to order it myself and bring him the bill.

I go to this shop all the time, I know the owner personally. They bring their custom wheel deals to my shop and I mount them up for him. I know everyone there really well. What happened to good shops/people who work at them? I used to use another until they lost a $50 order of mine and refused to refund. Now this crap. I like shops because I like meeting other car guys and shooting the ****, but they all seem to be incompetent. Looks like I will stick to ordering parts online from now on.
