Looks like a decent amount of room in there too. Nice alternative to a Pantera.

Always loved those, never thought about a swap.

The little V8s were kinda nice, but expensive to keep running I'm sure.

I've seen some pretty nice 328s around w/broken motors on the cheap, and the thought has been present. Only bummer is whatever you put in there surely wouldn't sound good as Ferrari.. :-/

I dunno, a built up 289 with ITB and EFI would be pretty pleasing to the ear. It wont have that flat plane sound to it, but pretty good.
