No? Did you not hear the interview where he said he's gonna raise Capital gain taxes? Even after it was proven that doing so lowers Government profit? Who's that gonna hurt. Not to mention this health care plan he wants to put in place. Who's gonna pay for that? You and me brother! Thats what we need right?, all the illegals and people who refuse to get a job in this country getting healthcare on our dollar.

Like I said were screwed either way.

If the democrats win....I'm sure the economy would get even worse than it is right now.

**** stimulus checks for the working people, they would give all the homeless people checks instead.

I'm not happy with any of the candidates really. I like Obama, but I am not for the democratic mindset to be put in place.

EDIT: And as far as war in Iraq goes. How many people would ******* **** if that was happening in OUR streets, instead of over there. Those people need a couple more years of our presence before we can move on from 9/11...sorry. I signed the papers for the USMC right after that **** happened. If people don't want to be over there, don't sign the papers. Some of us would love the opportunity.

Vash-
Get some brother! Semper Fi!!!

To all you f'ing hippies out there:

WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT TO TURN ON THE TV AND HEAR ANY U.S. PRESIDENT, DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN GIVE THE FOLLOWING SPEECH?
'My Fellow Americans: As you all know, the defeat of the Iraq regime has been completed.

Since congress does not want to spend any more money on this war, our mission in Iraq is complete.

This morning I gave the order for a complete removal of all American forces from Iraq This action will be complete within 30 days. It is now time to begin the reckoning.

Before me, I have two lists. One list contains the names of countries which have stood by our side during the Iraq conflict. This list is short . The United Kingdom , Spain , Bulgaria , Australia , and Poland are some of the countries listed there.

The other list contains every one not on the first list. Most of the world's nations are on that list. My press secretary will be distributing copies of both lists later this evening.

Let me start by saying that effective immediately, foreign aid to those nations on List 2 ceases immediately and indefinitely. The money saved during the first year alone will pretty much pay for the costs of the Iraqi war. THEN EVERY YEAR THERE AFTER IT'll GO TO OUR SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM SO IT WONT GO BROKE IN 20 YEARS.

The American people are no longer going to pour money into third world Hell holes and watch those government leaders grow fat on corruption.

Need help with a famine ? Wrestling with an epidemic? Call France .

In the future, together with Congress, I will work to redirect this money toward solving the vexing social problems we still have at home . On that note, a word to terrorist organizations. Screw with us and we will hunt you down and eliminate you and all your friends from the face of the earth.

Thirsting for a gutsy country to terrorize? Try France or maybe China .

I am ordering the immediate severing of diplomatic relations with France , Germany , and Russia . Thanks for all your help, comrades. We are retiring from NATO as well. Bonne chance, mes amies.

I have instructed the Mayor of New York City to begin towing the many UN diplomatic vehicles located in Manhattan with more than two unpaid parking tickets to sites where those vehicles will be stripped, shredded and crushed. I don't care about whatever treaty pertains to this. You creeps have tens of thousands of unpaid tickets. Pay those tickets tomorrow or watch your precious Benzes, Beamers and limos be turned over to some of the finest chop shops in the world. I love New York

A special note to our neighbors. Canada is on List 2. Since we are likely to be seeing a lot more of each other, you folks might want to try not pissing us off for a change.

Mexico is also on List 2 its president and his entire corrupt government really need an attitude adjustment. I will have a couple extra thousand tanks and infantry divisions sitting around. Guess where I am going to put 'em? Yep, border security.

Oh, by the way, the United States is abrogating the NAFTA treaty - starting now.

We are tired of the one-way highway. Immediately, we'll be drilling for oil in Alaska- which will take care of this country's oil needs for decades to come. If you're an environmentalist who opposes this decision, I refer you to List 2 above: pick a country and move there.

It is time for America to focus on its own welfare and its own citizens. Some will accuse us of isolationism. I answer them by saying, 'darn tootin.'

Nearly a century of trying to help folks live a decent life around the world has only earned us the undying enmity of just about everyone on the planet. It is time to eliminate hunger in America It is time to eliminate homelessness in America . To the nations on List 1, a final thought. Thank you guys. We owe you and we won't forget.

To the nations on List 2, a final thought: You might want to learn to speak Arabic.

God bless America .. Thank you and good night.'

If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you are reading it in English, thank a MARINE!!

BTW, Barack Obama=Manchurian Candidate...

it's too easy to get richer once you're rich.

if you're poor, it's virtually impossible not to get UNpoor. food costs are fixed. If you have $5, lunch is everything you have. If you have $5,000,000 dollars, you dont even see lunch on the radar.

I barely got any stimulus money and I am by no means rich. Stimulus money probably goes to people who live paycheck to paycheck and encourages them to take their $600 and justify a $1000 TV or computer they can't afford instead of paying off debt or buying 3 months of groceries. Nice work, stimulators.

We're not Iraq. The crazy religious people in america aren't going to start a jihad.

Hey oconnor, I think you've forgotten that this is a democracy. That means you have to deal with my leftist values just like I have to deal with your conservatism. The country is better for it. If you think people who have views different than yours need to leave the country you have more in common with the jihadists than you do with anything this country is supposed to stand for.

On another note, lets remember again that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and there was no Al-Qaeda there before we got there and they have certainly gained a bigger following because of our presence there. The Iraqi government was secular which is diemetrically opposed to what the Jihadists would support.

Johndoe,
Its not a democracy, if it were, then there would be no electorates...and the national archives would not run the elections. Our representatives would be allow to speak their minds with out fear of being asked to resign. There would be no politically correct culture. We would be able to freely debate.

I agree, there needs to be checks and balances to every side...and I don't whole heartedly agree that if you don't like it you should leave...well kind of...

But we really need to start taking care of our own country and start fixing what is broken here. We need to get rid of the crutches that are dragging people down into this "the gov't will pay for me" culture we are in.

Honestly, Ron Paul was our best shot at regaining the rights that we signed away. There will be more fearmongering, war, and fascism in the years to come.

it's a shame the libertarians will never get elected to office. 90% of my complaints with this country have to do with the feds regulating/controlling **** that they have no right to regulate according to the constitution.

EX: California legalizes medicinal marijuana... the ATF (federal agency) walks in to their state and starts arresting state licensed medicinal growers and distributors.

Where in the constitution does it say "the federal government may decide what citizens may smoke, eat, or drink"? If I recall prohibition was abolished because it was declared unconstitutional. Isn't that essentially what's happening here?

EX2: Feds wanted a national legal drinking age of 21. A few states like Louisiana held out at 18 until the fed forced them into changing it by refusing federal road maintenance funds (which, with the exception of interstates should also be a state matter regardless).

Extortion anyone? That's an awfully nice practice for a "world power" to use against the state governments which founded the federal government and allows it to remain in power over them.

In my personal opinion the people of this country would be better served if the fed was destroyed and we once again became a confederation of individual states instead of a brady bunch of dysfunctional children raised by retarded *** over protective parents.

Arkmage I agree with you %100. Unfortunately its worse than that. The problem is that congress is run by to many money hungry, power hungry liberals. They want control over you and your money because they think they know whats better for you. I say f that. Go away and leave me and my money alone. I agree we need to get out of Iraq but you cant do it overnight. I agree we need alternative methods of energy, but until someone finds something as good as oil we need more oil and we need it now. Increasing supply is the only way prices will go down. %60 of the oil we use everyday comes from over seas, meanwhile we have more oil right here in this very country then there is in the rest of the world. Government is too big and the bigger it gets the worse it gets for the middle class people!

I'm really baffled by the fact that several of you guys think it's the liberals that are money hungry? I mean where are you getting this ****? So if they want to apply our money to social programs that's a bad thing but if conservatives hand out government contracts to their buddies to pad only their wallets that's okay?
