I can't imagine you have 25k into it unless you are counting parts you aren't using any more. Broken tranny's, rear ends and motors don't count just as you wouldn't count worn out tires and brake pads!
Where you still running on the NT01's for that day? Some Hoosiers or the like may close that gap with between you, the subi and the vette.
