VW snow buggy passing through - PICS
3 Attachment(s)
Out and about this past weekend, I had this truck come next to me and I glanced over, and noticed this bad ass VW snow buggy on board. The yellow one in the front didn't look nearly as cool IMO.
Figured I would snap some pictures, seeing I actually had the camera in the car for once. I assume its on its way somewhere, not in CT. Maybe Alaska? lol Really. Where the fuck do you use this shit anyway besides Alaska? |

SICK. I was playing around in one of these during the "BIG" snow storm this year on the golf course I work at in Old Saybrook:

I pretty much need one of those to complete my life now, thanks Vash.

This may be a cheaper solution for those times when you just can't penny up for a snow buggy:

Looks like it was made back in the 60's by a guy in Sweden. The VW emblem is for the motor it uses, rather than it actually being a VW.
Here's the link I found - Snow-Trac.com Here's a video on them, but be warned, it has terrible music and I can't understand a fucking thing the guys are saying. But all the other videos were just 20-30 second clips of them driving by. EDIT: I could totally handle living Ken Blocks life. Snowboard park/mountain in your backyard.....what!? |
This thread is complete win.

That thing looks tuff. Whenever I see a snowtrac I think of The Shining.

They're called Snowcat's, and used a bunch here in Canada
