Default "Female driven on"

Does anyone else not view someone saying "female driven on" as a good thing? That usually makes me cringe, mostly because ive met very, very few women that actually kept their cars in good condition.

Not to be too sexist, just always made me think twice.

i agree, if i see girly stuff in a car i would hesitate to buy, especially if ot was a teenage girl ... from what ive seen they are the ones who dont change their oil and treat the car like crap.

When I clicked this, I thought it was going to be a news story about some chick getting run over.

All the women I know take poor care of their vehicles.

My dad and I used to get a chuckle from looking at the autotrader and the "woman owned and driven" cars and then immediately remarking that it probably needed a clutch.

I wouldn't care either way.
I've seen women who couldn't care less about their automobiles, and treat them accordingly. I've seen a nearly equal amount of women that are fanatical about proper upkeep and maintenance. I would say the ratio of people who care:not care is pretty even across sex.

it depends. if you're not into cars, you're not into maintenance of cars.

some women are very easy on cars, never redline them, never beat on them, never really do anything to them in fact. That can be good and bad. They usually take the car to a mechanic/dealer if it makes ANY noise. I'd probably rather own one of those, even if it did need a new clutch, rather than a car owned by some teenage boy in high school. The boys have a tendancy to beat the living **** out of everything (don't deny it, we all did)

I have two non-working Miatas.

I bought two because I though "Gee, with the way I beat the everliving **** out of my cars, it's good to have a replacement"

My sister is the only woman I know of in the world who doesn't run **** over in the road.

However, my 1991, 140k miata was previously owned by a 27 year old woman since college, and everything works and it was in really good shape.

my GF hit a piece of metal in her 3 day old mz6 with 600 miles on it and sliced the sidewall... on the way to a concert... in the thunderstorm which turned to hail...
