Thankfully, they've dropped the intensity down from a cat 3 to a cat 2, but that's very hard to predict. Katrina was a category 2 then became a category 5 overnight.

LOL. I'm a little worried about it, as that chart predicts the path of the storm CENTER. I'll be driving back from Tulsa on Monday so things could get hairy. Best of luck to whomever it may land on though.

Sucks I was just in Nawlins and I read an article about how its 60% likely another flood will happen in the coming years. But then again it flooded when a rain shower came through. Reason #4356 to not build in a lowland river flood plain.

Throw in its driving up oil prices, and Tallahassee is still in that fuzzy area.

When I was a kid, and dinosaurs roamed the land, we used to get hurricanes in NJ all the time.

I don't miss them.

How many hurricanes does it take to decide to GTFO of Louisiana?

Good luck man.

They said on the news today at lunch time, that it will be test for the newly re-built levies. Are they ready for a test?

Sorry about the path being straight at you, but maybe this time it will turn up the Mississippi and bring us some rain. It is real dry here.

This is always my thought too. As well as people rebuilding their homes in "tornado alley". Move and your problems are solved...

I would suggest that the OP should evacuating now, before all hell breaks loose.

To add insult to injury (as well as threaten your sexuality) you can rest assured our resident Gov't Planning ANALyst, Hustler, will be on the scene to assign you to your new FEMA digs.

Bryce's WIN post made me laugh so hard I woke up the baby and when I picked her up, she farted so loud it woke up the dog.
