Shipping a nitrous tank
I sold a used nitrous tank for one of the shops I'm selling stuff for on ebay. I'm wondering now if I can ship it or not. I didn't even think about it when I listed the bottle. Anyone on here do it before? Its empty, he actually just emptied it into the air.....didn't even use it.
I plan on shipping it USPS since its cheaper. I'm gonna search online about it now, but figured I'd ask here too, seeing one of you might have shipped one before.

To the best of my knowledge, empty gas cylinders can be shipped by air, you just have to declare them. Works for the paintball folks, anyway.
Why would it need to go by air to get to Montana, though? I'm pretty sure they have roads there.

Ok just got off the phone with USPS.
As long as its empty and the valve is open I'm good to go.
He said it would be flying. Anything over 500 miles goes by air.
That was easy enough.
