We had some awesome weather today in central Ohio so a couple of friends and I went out to the local kart track. My buddy has a 125cc TAG Kart and luckily he let me drive it. Holy Sh*t. He has some fancy $2000 motor and his kart is set up pretty well, seriously, holy sh*t was it fast. I spent about 10 laps just holding on for dear life.

Fast karts are awesome and 16K RPMs from an Italian 2-stroke is even more awesome.

 

when we have kids and I wont mod cars anymore, I plan to take up carting. the speed/quickness of the modern go-kart is simply incredible. any pictures?

I was telling my wife that my priorities are totally messed up, the only reason I want to have kids now is so that I can buy them a kart when they are 5.....
