I was talking to a lawyer buddy out there about this... and NM's laws are extremely strict and sketchy. The cops are batshit crazy assholes, and you can technically be guilty of DUI if you're passed out in a non-running car on blocks in your front yard. Sounds to me like it's gone way beyond safety and it's considered a steady source of income. Fun.

It's a fun road, but 165 is dirt once you make the turn off from the crest road(536).

Oh, crap. No, wait - rental car, hahahaha! Rental cars love dirt roads!

Rally rental car? Sounds like a youtube hit to me. You should still check it out, you don't get the full NM experience without checking out some of our dirt roads.. :bowrofl:
