What does your Miata share the garage with ?

Mostly curiosity on my part , but wondering what types of vechicles other turbo Miata owners gravitate towards. My other transportation is Subaru Legacy wagon (non turbo and yes I'm working on fixing that ) and my wife drives an Audi A4 Avant 2.0 . Let's hear what you got and why you like it. Fred B.

In addition to the huge pile of random crap, currently my Miata lives with a Locost Seven:

<a href="http://photos.codrus.com/Cars/Locost/33378067_68M4MM#!i=3973089458&k=Nb62ZxQ&lb=1&s=A" title="Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug"><img src="http://photos.codrus.com/Cars/Locost/i-Nb62ZxQ/1/L/0P7A0971-L.jpg" title="Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug" alt="Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug"></a>

Previous to that, the B6 S4 Avant was in there. It got unceremoniously booted out when the Seven showed up, although I did have all three of them crammed in there for a couple weeks (going on vacation, the window regulator on the Audi had failed and it needed to be inside).

Previous to that it lived with my B5 S4 sedan.

(old photo from its one-and-only trip to Laguna, just before it set the brakes on fire...)

The 2016 S6 is on order, also in Nogaro Blue. No photos of that yet, though. :)

The truck and minivan don't fit in the garage.

What does my miata share space in the garage with?
JUNK!

The 2 BMWs sleep outside. :p

I used to have a Forester XT, looks like that is a common combo on here.

Now I have a BMW 120d and the Mrs has a Mk5 Golf 2.0 TDI. Don't mind these diesels for everyday stuff!

What's the third one doing, then? Does it count as deceased? :-)

How do you like your 328i ? I'm considering replacing my Legacy with a similar vintage 328i Xdrive ? An Outback Xt is my other possibility at this point.

Miata lives in the driveway 200 miles away from me, unmoved and rotting away for 8 years.

But...the the Miata will rise again. I predict soon within months.

Half the garage is mine. The Miata, tools, and my Fuji Nevada 1.9 mountain bike live there.

The other half, no joke is storage for sex toys. It's my wife's business to sell them. PM for your buttplug needs...

timk 05-31-2015 10:53 PM

Do you do thorough product testing?

Purely buttplugs or other things? I have seriously considered welding together some contraptions to hold up and tie people to. I have some friends in the kink scene and they show me pictures of things and all I think about is that I could probably make it.

My garage gets shared with Miata's and only Miata's. The Mazda2 only needs oil changes, and you don't even have to put it on jack stands to do them. So no need to ever roll it into the garage.

2010 Ford Edge (wife hauler), 2000 F-150 (Miata hauler), and a bunch of power tools and sawdust (helps keep the wife happy so I can keep the Miata).

Actually right now the Miata is parked on the street because it's spot in the garage is full of lumber because we're "remodeling" our deck... Fun stuff...

Swanpuppy 06-01-2015 10:18 AM

I have a main garage with currently houses my 90' and the wife's 91'. Our driveway has the GMC Acadia (up north road trip car) and my 2013 F150 work truck. Lower garage currently is lawn mowers and $2,000 dollars worth of lumber for a fence I'm building. In winter the miatas will go down to hibernate and my 90' will finally see boost this winter. Lower garage is a work shop for now, but once the fence is done all the tools will go into my actual lower shop space that isn't set up yet. New house requires some time to get it all set up just how I want.
