I've used auctionsniper.com before, no problems with it. PM me your email address and I can send you a referral.

nicacus 02-07-2009 07:08 PM

I like hammertap.com

boileralum 02-07-2009 07:14 PM

Sent, LMK if it doesn't go through (it didn't give me a confirmation page). Your PM box is full, btw.

Miatamaniac92 02-07-2009 07:22 PM

Got it, thanks. I'll take a look at it.

Cripes, they've automated sniping? What the heck is wrong with a stopwatch and your finger?

Auctions ending when I have other plans is why I have used them. I used to be very good at last second bidding back in the day though, when I had too much time and money, lol.

my mistake.
it's eBay Snipe, eBay Bidding Software, eBay Sniping -- Hammertap.com

ApexOnYou 02-08-2009 01:10 AM

People still use those?

I do it manually and get it 80% of the time, but I suppose a sniper would be nice if you can't be home for the auction. Are those free?

nicacus 02-08-2009 01:15 AM

hammersnipe is free you get 3 or 4 credits per week or something.. I havent used it in a long long time

zoomin 02-08-2009 04:43 AM

Someone comes in at the last second and snipes away your bid. There are programs (as you can see by the answers) which will do the bidding for you at the last second.

jbidwatcher ftw

GIXEN - Free eBay Auction Sniper

it's a free ebay snipe site, basically you have as many snipes as you like, for free. never failed me yet:)

Vashthestampede 02-08-2009 07:08 PM

If theres something I really want that I know wont be easy to find again I use auctionsniper. Unlike some of you computer jobers that live on the computer, some of us don't. I've used auctionsniper only a hand full of times, but each time it worked.

Best offer is a great thing. I've lucked out and got some awesome deals using it. Also lots of sellers will make deals with you if you send them a quick email and start talking.

I've used eSnipe for years, works like a charm. Scored a Valentine1 today as a matter of fact.

There is actual software you can download that can do that for you, free if you know where to look.

Lifehacker also recommended this. I'm giving this a try, only hitch will be to remember to keep the computer on.

I use esnipe. It is a pay site (if you guys didn't know). It did fail one time but that is because the seller automatically rejected my offer. I am still not sure how the auction was set up to but it had something to do with me not having a paypal account (I use my wife's due to paypal's inability to let two accounts share a credit card).

chinh_us 02-12-2009 10:19 PM

bidsniper but only get free snipes for referrals
