The bangles, seriously? Do you sometimes have manic mondays? Or feel the need to walk like an Egyptian? With that blaring out the stereo no wonder people think Miatas are hairdresser cars.

Anyway.

Lately:
Social Distortion
Sublime
Nouvelle Vague
NIN
Ramones
Misfits
Flobots
Cake
Beastie Boys
The Stooges
Johnny Cash
RATM
Joy Division
Sex Pistols

I normally take the stereo out of my cars, plus most of my cars are too loud to hear the stereo, which is how I like it. The stereo is still in my Miata cause someone stole the speakers, so it didn't matter. Having music while I am driving is normally not a good idea, as I tend to drive rather quickly during a hard core song (100-150mph depending on the song, traffic, etc). I once drove to the OK state border in 1.5hrs, and then made it back in 45min with some good song selection. I didn't slow to under 100mph on the way back, and I was mostly over 120mph (max speedo reading).

I listen to classic rock (Queen, Skid Row, etc) to death metal (Napalm Death, Canniobal Corpse, etc). Right now I am listening to the new Slipknot album. My fav band is Smashing Pumpkins, and I also have the first 6 CDs from Mariah Carey. You won't find a single country (except one Jeff Foxworth, but that's not music), or (C)rap CD.

I've been enjoying a little band called "Delta Spirit" lately. Randomly saw them open for another band and liked them. They're starting to get some "air"play on the internet stations.

I have an 80G "Classic iPod" carrying my entire music collection. Most everything ranging from Classical and Opera to Acid Rock and Speed Metal. - I do tend to draw the line at Celtic Chants and Rap...

I love every one of those bands... Thrice has been a long time favorite.

Here's a small sampling I listen to just about anything that isn't rap country, pop

Tool
Idiot Pilot (has anyone else here heard of them?)
Weezer
Deftones
old Linkin Park
Primus
old Korn
Evol Intent
Aphex Twin
Failure (one of the best bands evar!)
A Perfect Circle
older Unwritten Law
Radiohead
Helmet
Local-H
Muse

I don't listen to the radio at all...i've lost hope in all "new" music for the most part. It all sucks. The new "rap" out there sucks more then Hyper, the "alternative" stations play nothing but knock off bull*ish and ghey emo garbage.

Yeah the 'new radiohead'. They're badass though.
