http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s...rim-jlspec.gif Actually that 1500hp is at a relatively high rpm so maybe that turbo would be a little small for 750 hp at "street-car" rpm levels. I'm guessing here but I think at 6000rpm it was only around 1200hp. |
he said 500-700 though for that range 1000 cfm should get him damn close shouldn't it nothing a little porting couldn't fix right.

Remember....the 4088 is more than enough compressor. It has a huge turhbine wheel and housing though. Thats what will let it work on the V8. Just like you would never put a t3/t4E with a .48 housing and the standard turbine wheel on a 6 cyl even though it may have a decent 57 trim t4 compressor wheel on the cold side. You go to a stage III wheel and a .63 housing on the hotside though, and now you have something that will let you lay down 400 whp at 20 psi on a 2.8 instead of choking like a 16 year old cheerleader giving her first BJ.

lol, turbos and blowjobs, doesn't get any better than that

You are referring to a pair of them I hope.
Just one makes 617WHP on a miata, it should be good for a few more ponies on a V8. |
