what was mediocre? The plot of the movie, the effects, or everything? they keep shouting about how the effects are as revolutionary as the first Matrix movie.

the effects are great, the rest of the movie is mediocre.
and I saw it in an IMAX theater.

The effects are great.. fighting scenes are great. The only thing that stops the movie from being great is the unnecessary plot they tried to add in where the actors tended to be overly dramatic. It had the potential to beat out gladiator until that part.

I thought it was... ******* AMAZING.

I really think its the best action movie ive ever seen, yes id go that far.

BANGENEST war/fight movie i have ever seen!!!

wouldn't same the best every but it is up there.


I would kill for an old style epic like Ben-Hur though

I saw Ben Hur a couple of weeks ago again and THAT is a great movie - STILL!!!

I totally want to see it in IMAX... even if the movie is mediocre, it looks stunning and I really really want to see it.

it really peaked my interest when I was watching the making of podcast, it was cool because the set master made this one rock that they filmed on for days, just a rock, they made it have different faces so the could film walking up/down/cliff/backgrounds all kinds of scenes with one piece of scenery. cool stuff.
