BS in Healthcare Information Systems.

I'm a Sr. Analyst (tier 2 IT support) for a large insurance company that doesn't sell health insurance!

Would love to find a healthcare/IT gig in the Austin, TX area. I can't take the cold, grey , wetness of central Ohio much longer.

You should look into freestanding radiation oncology centers. There is a huge push to go chartless. Our center is 100% paperless. The interfacing between the treatment machines, mosaiq record and verify system, and just the general network so you an access anything from anywhere is insane. We have a full time IT guy. He has all those fancy certificates fromt the tests where you have to fix some crap that they purposely break. All in a time span of 8 hrs. Apparently it's a big deal.

soloracer 04-25-2011 04:35 PM

Sounds interesting. Not familiar with said tests. Sounds like kobayashi maru.

I thought it was generally accepted, as a matter of broad stereotype, that gays as a whole tend to be better educated and more culturally literate than straight men?

I would think that the same would hold true for diagnostic imaging centers as well, no? Seems like those places are springing up everywhere, and many of them are group-owned. Sign one deal and you've got a dozen radiologists on board.

Is this demographic specific to modified miata owners or modified car owners in general??

I'm not so sure this demographic applies to all car crowds e.g., DSM.

I would bet that this would apply there as well. We have to have a guy "in-house". We would not be able to function without him.

BS / MIS from a crappy state school. Worked my way through over a 7 year period by cooking at night, going to school during the day.

I've worked in Healthcare Software for 25 years for the same company.

You have the most awesome avatar. I'd love to invite it to Tailhook and ask it that very question.

I went to trade school for boilers. I have worked in district heating system servicing the downtown detroit. 42 miles of underground lines and tunnels is very impressive. Very old but ASME landmarks. I currently now work in another plant dealing with large centrifugal compressors, boilers, industrial waste water, and steam turbine chillers providing climate control to a 3 million sq ft facility. Running 4000hp turbine @ 6200rpm is turbo porn non the less.... try and fit that in a miata ha!

I am a $600/hr gigilo and I specialize in daddy issues. My market is the teen pre-college segment and recently, I have expanded my customer base to international models and college strippers due to the economic downturn. I have a BS in Economics from the University of Munich and a MBA from Wharton.
