What's with all the cheap bouncing LED running lights on new cars??
All over the road lately, I'm seeing cars and SUVs with a strip of LED running lights bouncing obnoxiously. I was never a fan of the LED running light fad. I find it quite funny that people are buying luxury cars for $40k or more and they get cheap bouncing LEDs just like the 16yr old in his 1991 CRX picked up from PepBoys. :bowrofl:
So far, I've seen LEDs that bounce on a Cadillac, multiple Mercedes, and a few new Buicks. I assume they aren't supposed to do that... |
They don't do that, new, off the lot. They do that after 6-12 months, because the cars with gimmicks like those, are usually built quite poorly.

"bouncing" im curious as to how you mean....

C'mon guys, really?? No one knows what running lights are and at least one person doesn't know what bouncing means??
Here's a picture. These lights oscillating up and down as the vehicle travels down the roadway. |
So...they aren't bolted down tightly?
|
Are you talking about the auto-leveling gyro-controlled headlights going up and down? Still can't picture 'bouncing' headlights otherwise...
|
I think OP means the ricer LED's.
I haven't seen any bouncing personally. |
Op means the ricer LED strips that audi started putting on cars and everyone else started copying. I dont pay enough attention to stupid running lights to notice if other cars are bouncing.
|
But everyone is doing it now.
