Mine sits in the passenger seat if we're taking the miata over the OTM for some reason. Doesn't happen a lot since the baby came though, we're always in the OTM.

what seat is that?

I don't have a doggy anymore because I travel too much.

My boxer love riding in the passenger seat with the top down. However, he can't move around because he always has a harness and is belted in when riding in the Miata.

I wish I could find the pic...

Somebody made a harness to securely mount a small dog to the parcel shelf between the seats. It was a riot.

My dog doesnt ride in the miata....im afraid she'll either poke a hole in the seat with her claws or jump out (she's jumped out the window of my other car already).

On the floor in front of the passenger seat. Moestly its to train him to be down there so when i have another person in the car he knows his place

Pitlab77 05-27-2008 11:29 PM

my hamster is in the engine bay running in the wheel.

BenR 05-28-2008 08:56 AM

my rot mix can't fit anywhere but the pax seat. She likes leaning into the turns.

Steve, you have a harness setup for your dog?

Ben 05-28-2008 09:09 AM

My dog sits in the seat, sleeps on the floor, stands in the seat with his front paws on the door panel, or he puts his front paws on top of the windshield frame. He loves it. He also demands to go into the garage and hide in the miata when it's storming.

I took my dad's 110lb rottwieler from his shop to his house. She fit. Kind of.

BenR 05-28-2008 09:22 AM

Yea, my mom's 100lbs+ anatolian is taller than the windshield. :giggle:

Zabac 05-28-2008 09:24 AM

My boxer will only sit on the seat, can't fit on the floor or behind the roll bar :giggle:

Toddcod 05-28-2008 09:48 AM

The 80lbs choc lab would set in the pass seat and lay her paw on my hand. No joke That dog was great. It could open doors, turn on water hoses, and only eat my girls shoes.
Now my lap pup 4lbs is everywhere. LOL

Milton Tucker 05-28-2008 03:48 PM

The dog stays the hell away from the miata.:gtfo:

thesnowboarder 05-28-2008 04:08 PM

all these great stories and not a single picture :(

BenR 05-28-2008 04:12 PM

Ok, I'll try and grab one tonight.

Bryce 05-28-2008 04:21 PM

Fender, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, likes to put his front paws on top of the door and stick his head in the wind, till I get on the highway. Maggie the English Pointer goes nowhere near my car, her short spiky hair would embed itself in the seats.

Pics later!

Have you guys tried the rear shelf? A friend of mine used to put her average sized greyhound there with the roof up!

Sorry, but I don't have pictures of it.
