My old neighbor built himself a tube frame CanAM style car back in the late 70's. He rebuilds Corvair parts for a living out of his home. Has a pretty nice home shop. He used a turbo Corvair motor and tranny and used aluminum sheet for the body. Car weighed maybe 13-1400 lbs with 250hp. Nice locost with real downforce and great power to weight ratio for the day. He's only put a few hundred miles on it in 30 years.

That Atom is sweet though, how much hp with the non-supercharged V8 in the US? I'm sure it'll still be crazy, but that sucks that we don't get the supercharger. The wings make that thing look very aggressive, I love it.
