well I checked out how to do it before I started the contest but now I can't remember how.

problem is posts are numbered by thread ID then post number, I'm sure it's possible tho.

Kudos to Boostinsteve, but it's strange that he won. His posts were not anywhere near the time our counter hit 50k. But that's okay, b/c it made it so us snipers didn't have a chance.

 

read the explanation from the VB developer, I used his method to calculate it because I felt that was fairest.
i'll do something else at christmas time and cater it to the post ******.

 

How the hell did I win. I did not even think about winning the contest, I just needed help with all of the work and installing I was doing on the Miata. Thanks for all of the help that you guys gave me and I will post pics up when I get the chance to and my computer stops fighting me.

I guess the way I can explain it is I calculated the winnAr as the 50,000th post MADE

While the counter on the page shows the 50,000th post REMAINING
meaning we've actually made somewhere around 50,500 posts but about 400 something of them are gone. Make sense?

 

going to sleep now. took forfuckingever to install mphpadmin to be able to run that uery for some unknown reason.
