Where's the one of that Mercedes flipping over the fence at the 24 Le Mans race... or about 10 years ago when Cadillac was making a big deal about it's return to motorsport with it's LMP car powered by a Northstar engine... and one of it's two cars going up in flames barely into the first lap.

Yea, that's not a bad accident, most of the crash energy is burned off before any solid impacts, and the driver is not on fire.

These are bad crashes.

sometimes yea.....i used to work security at the local race track at the end of the drag strip an i know i've personally seen a guy who was racing crotch rockets (turbo hyabusa w/ cams, nitrous, the whole shibang) cross the 1/4 mile mark, the bike got wobbly and he dumped doing like 150+mph hit the ground and started somersaulting for at least 250ft and he got up...dusted off and basically walked away....found out later he had only a mild concussion , sprained ankle, and broken wrist....not bad for what happend imo
