Your 1.6 fuel rail won't work with the 99 1.8. The CAS will work though. The mspnp 9495 won't do anything the 9093 won't do so that isn't a good route to take.

That's why i told him swapping to a 94-95PNP wouldn't make any difference.

Also if you plan to use the stock harness and connectors i believe the 1.6 ECU connectors differ from the 94-95 1.8 connectors but I'm not positive so that would open a whole new can of worms for you. Atleast with the 90-93pnp and your stock harness you would be able to use the existing wiring again.

you'll have to use a different start setting, but I have that data on my work computer thanks to "foundsoul." No additional parts are needed, just a different tune.

It's actually good to hear that I can swap my CAS over to a '99 head and keep on truckin' with the MS. When I bleed money, I'm going to swap a '99 head onto my shortblock.

TWM > Fuji. Fuji's kit uses an adapter for the 99 head. Not so free air for a free flowing head. Boig or TWM ftw.

Uh a 1.6 irtb wont work on a 1.8 car the **** i different dude. ANd the 1.8 TB is also different as well. Stick all 1.8 hard stuff and run it off the 1.6 electronics works fine. didn't you read the thread? He got his **** custom machined to work with the 99 intake. And he probably hasn't even been near the miata this month have you hustler.

i just did the swap on a 92 car/harness, 96 block, 99 head/mani...you have to use the 1.6 TB, and you will have to cut into the CAS wiring harness and make it longer since it will not reach, you just have to extend the wires by about 4-6" is all you need, the rest was pretty simple...and IRTB, why?
go boost

No you don't. Use the 99 t-body and either wire in the TPS, or just don't connect it.

I went with a 99 motor because its an easy swap, and I had a "core" motor for $150 since I'm building the bottom end...but that motor never came to fruition.

Use the 1.6 alternator. Wire the vics to a shift light trigger.
The IAC settings for the 99 motor:

I've been driving the car, but not working on it yet. Everything is still in boxes.

Read this, but please don't fill it up with garbage questions.
