There pretty pricey. I dont think he stole them. Probably got them from the junkyards and trying to make profit.

I think he is legit, he also advertises on Mnet...I am glad to see his prices so high, it allowed me to get more for my white OEM top with defrost and headliner in excellent condition.
But his prices are a bit on the high side, i guess he is a partner with the guy that was making the fastback shitmod and stocked up on hardtops in anticipation that they would sell like hotcakes.
FAILZ!!!

Your sure he isn't the guy from the SAC area, who was stealing **** and selling it around here and m.net? Remember the young guy that was finally caught and put in the pokey for a while?

You think that it high, here's one in Wichita for $1,800. "Sold the car but they couldn't afford the top." I couldn't afford an $1,800 top, either. http://wichita.craigslist.org/pts/722482323.html

Key words are "back in the day". Now anyone that spends 10 minutes on the net knows that they are worth more than the $200-400 added that KBB allows for them.

I've been looking for a hard-top for my ugly car and sadly, $1k+ is now the going rate for a hard-top. This makes me sad, and I worry about the one on my green car.

I pay $62 per month for full coverage on my green car... and recently it increased $11 to cover the hard-top which originally had no specific rider.

If I wanted, I could buy not less than 7 hardtop near me and all under 700$.

That's a non-sense... Here the miatas are too expensive but they litteraly give you their hardtop.... Paid mine 300$ Original Mazda in perfect condition

I got $1100 for an excellent one, $1000 for a good one, and (I think) $800 for a not so nice one.

On craigslist the hardtops in Canada were $200-400 cheaper than the same condition here. I drove a little north of Toronto for mine, $700.
