Yeah, the direct translation would be something like..

"I'm not worth dealing with"

I read Ebonics. That ain't no Ebonics.

It might just be dumb ass. I can't place that selection into the standard African American vernacular.

I also have a plethora of cars and parts to fit them, and from this experience I gather that you are knowledgeable in your hobby. I am the owner of a transmission for a 1990 front-wheel-drive turbocharged model in good working order, but I question whether or not it is a 22-spline version. I've been through three transmissions for a 1992 and they've all been worthless. I need a transmission for my 1992 car.

On a related note, I didn't see a blow-off valve amongst your items for sale. Do you have one, perchance? A Tial is preferred, but I digress. I need another one!

At your service. Thank you for using Kotomile(tm) Translation Services.

Rule to live by when buying or selling:
Quote:
If you get a pm from a potential buyer where it is difficult to read (spelling, grammar) then you may want to skip that person and go to the next. As you can now see it can be a reflection of the mindset of the person who has contacted you.

Thats not Ebonics... It looks more like someones failed attempt at l337 speak/ abbriviations/engilsh combo.

You would be correct in a partial sense. That poor grammer doesn't come from any one specific type of person.

However, "Ebonics" did come from the black community, because a majority did not want to speak the white mans english. In a sense they all choose to be idiots.

y8s 07-10-2010 10:22 PM

i dont get it.

Tekel 07-10-2010 10:29 PM

I think that is "ignorant/uneducated" not ebonics

SlideRuler 07-10-2010 10:48 PM

ignorant/uneducated people have money too, you know.

from dealing with ebay when they type like this they tend to try to get something for nothing. they will find something wrong with it and want like 80% back to deal with it type scams.

i had one guy get a part break it trying to install then wanted a refund. bad grammer skills tends to be immature people that think they can get way with anything over the internet.

i remember that they wanted teachers to learn ebonics ect... said it was racist if they didn't. it was kinda a snoop dog language if i remember right

I work in Compton, so I have a little experience with ebonics. It is a declaration of which side of a line a person is on, not an indication of intelligence or even capability to speak English properly.
