Tom is the moron from Fast Forward Superchargers, aka Tom@FFS on m.net. Hes an idiot that refuses to think stand alone ECU systems in boosted miatas is a viable solution for controlling fuel and spark.. He thinks that the PowerCard is the best thing to grace a miata since a supercharger was used as a vacuum pump on a diesel. Also refuses to accept the fact that a high boost forced induction setup on a miata requires (for safety for ***** sake.. Wait a second.. FFS... For **** Sake..lol. I digress.) an intercooler solution. Instead, he Trademarked "E-Cool" which is a shitty bandaid that turbo buick owners figured out in 1982 was a really ******* bad idea and started blowing their **** up. Toms solution instead of intercooler, timing control, and REAL fuel control is make the car run ******* pig rich with P-P-P-Powercard!!! then add EVEN MORE ******* FUEL as a bandaid intake charge cooling solution which might work pretty well if his miata was powered by NITRO METHANE!
Theres a story told in my signature which I forgot to add a few slides into..
First off, Theres a chicken and he says "Quack!" There are two things behind that, first off I think Tom is just that, a ******* Quack. Second off, a "chicken and a duck are the same thing, only their poo is different." Which if I remember correctly came from Tom always going back on things he says, and turning around the truth, blame other people, and never will answer a question directly.
Second theres the P-P-P-Powercard!! Which should explain it all... Just add a powercard, from the Quack!
Third slide: For ***** Sake, just add an FFS supercharger.. Knock knock goes your engine, from lack of engine controls and 300+ degree IATs..
Fourth Slide: Just add a Mazda BP engine into the solution and it all goes kablooey!!!!! Which in short, it just ******* blows up. Theres been like 4 or 5 cars I've read about online that hes blown up with shitty EMS solutions and 14psi from an MP62.
Fifth and Final slide is also pretty self explanatory, but I'll post Joe's findings again from another thread anyway to recap. Hes a ******* yo-yo.. Literally the man used to play with toys, as an adult, and even in that venue was a douchebag to his competition and just people in general.

You know guys, I've been following this whole Tom bashing thing here with a lot of interest.
I think the only way to put him in his place is to get one of his superchargers, add an intercooler, and megasquirt that ****. That way, with his own product, you make like 20% more hp than he did, get better gas mileage and just "do it the way its meant to be done". That ought to shut him up instantly.
But hey, who has the money and the time to waste on something like that?

the best way to get him is to actually get the people who's motors blown to stop signing gag orders and go public. He's going to run out of excuses eventually.

But anyway mileage doesn't mean much - a guy with 10K miles who goes at the track every other weekend would have had the car in boost much more than 100K miles of cross country cruising and a couple of track days.

Get real. I used to work for a Cable television company doing installations in peoples homes, and by far the worst wiring job I've EVER seen in a house was one owned, built, and wired by an electrical engineer. Just because you can design electrical circuits on paper and know ******* Ohms law doesn't mean you know jack **** about wire installation!! FFS (HA!) he had BARE electrical wires all over the place! No wire nuts, no electrical tape, nothing!!

Since, according to someone on m.net, it takes an Aerospace Engineering degree to "tune" powercard.. You know, pressing the two little buttons in a specific sequence to make it flash like a Christmas Tree in November...
