^ It's not rice if you have the power to back it up,in the case of the time attack cars,they can talk **** & back it up no problem.....also,the decals many consider rice,well,those are sponsors they advertise for.

This whole racism crap is a load.
I wish everyone would quite being a pussies and get over it. When I am called a white boy, I don't care. When my hispanic friends are called beaners they don't care.
But the Black college fund is OK. I would like to see you open a white college fund. LOL LOL LOL.
Anyway. I have been a minority my whole life being white. I can't get the easy way in school. Jobs:Well sir we have to hire a minority, mabe you can get a job here later.
Or "hey, there is the white kid". And I get into a fight because I'm white.
It is all crap. The people that yell racism, ARE the racist.
And don't even try to say I am prejudist. My best friend is black. And my girlfriend is hispanic.
And as far as the comedian. That Was FUNNY!
And as far as asians, most of them around here really have nice things. But almost all of them that I work with admit they can't drive. LOL

When I was going up as a kid in the 80's,the asians/browns were picked on bad by the white kids for no reason.I also heard alot of racial slurs thrown around by white kids & adults(the adults would call the asian kids "little dumb ******" as they walked past a playground)for no reason at all.
Fast forward 20+ years,now the white people are the minority here in "Hongcouver",the sad thing is,they like to pull the race card quite a bit,like you said about "hiring minorities".
I have no problem with whites,black,brown or whatever color there skin is,the majority of my friends are white,brown,native & I would not call you prejudist.
My point is,since the begining of this thread,there's no point to making racial comments/jokes cause it's just bullshit.I'm just so sick of hearing about racial issues,tensions,slurs,jokes & comments.
Well,I have to admit.........I can drive.

In this thread I will explain once and for all why Asians rice their cars.
Now for the most part people have their own reasons why Asian people rice out their cars. My belief prior to my revelation for why they rice their cars was because they dont have the money or guts to do go fast mods.
But since visiting China, I have come to a totally different conclusion.
I spent 3 days in mainland China and 5 days in Hong Kong. It is there that I realized just why they rice their cars first vs. going for power mods.
As soon as you get into the city and especially when the sun sets you see exactly why. The attention to detail, to everything is astounding. Parks are lit up in green. Buildings are adorned in thousands of neon lights. Boats are decorated with all sorts of ancient Chinese symbols and patterns. It is this attention to detail, that I have come to understand, that transfers over to their cars.
Now thats just mainland China. Hong Kong is an echelon above this. Buildings are two to three times taller, and the decorations are even more grandiose. The parks and streets in day time are all flawlessly maintained and beautified.
Another example. Look at the Beijing Olympics. I think thats hands down the greatest opening ceremony in history.
Now what does this all mean. It gives you an idea of why they do what they do. Its in their nature to beautify, perfect, and make things eye pleasing(even though some rice is woh nasty).

Sorry but you're just trolling. Living by NYC I can't believe you're that ignorant. There's like a billion or two people in china and they don't all live in the city. The Olympics were also a government sponsored and managed event. Hong Kong is awesome because it's WEALTHY.
The DC area (that I live in) is pretty ethnically diverse with a good spread of white, asian, hispanic, black people. It's not just chinamen that want to hop up their cars. For instance, I've met a couple of black guys that drive some very nice american iron drag cars and guess who helped me turbo my miata? My white buddy. Everyone wants a spiffy looking car and it's much cheaper to slap a wing on your tercel than to buy a ferrari or F1 car. Maybe the AZNs started modifying their hondas to look fast only recently but white folk were doing that with their american cars long before that.
Ease of modification really is a big deal too. Stupid Import Tuner magazine keeps putting out lameass equipment reviews of +3whp!! air filters, exhaust, and headers because those parts don't break your car if you install them wrong. When my car started bleeding fuel all over my garage because I installed my fuel injectors without o-rings because I was ignorant I ******* panicked. I think that a lot of people on these car forums are very mechanically savvy but the average Joe (which I'm not far removed from in mechanical knowledge and skill) gets very nervous about real performance modifications because car engines are intimidating and complex looking. If I had 40 fewer IQ points and I had to choose between rearranging half my engine bay and superglueing on a tite-***!1!1!! groundFX kit and tinting my windows I would definetly choose the latter. My car isn't going to break if I **** up installing a subwoofer system but there's a good chance I'll explode my block if install nawwz improperly.
Everyone likes shiney objects, not just people with squinty eyes...
