We got it fixed! Mikes wive works for a chain auto-parts store, so they went in at 7am, master cylinder in hand, and started measuring seals. A 90s GM pickup master seal fit the bill, and we re-bleed, and the owner drove off, high in the revs. :D

The owner will be racing the F40 this weekend, not the GTO.

Such a sweet car.

I've got a few friends that work at a local exotic dealer. They were doing a rushed job on a Murcielago clutch one night and I went over to "help", despite their "it's just a car" logic, I was too scared to do anything more than fetch tools. I'd be terrified to be in the same building with that thing.

meh

I was the same until me and a buddy had to wrench on an Atom. It was so simple and basic that the paranoia faded immediately

Now driving one, that's a different story.

Yeah, an atom is totally in the same league as the murc or a 30mil Ferrari. I'm cool with working on whatever the owner trusts me with, I just get a little nervous when people watch me doing it :giggle:

When the vin reads " 007 " and its the 1st one to make it to the states or something crazy like that, and its the exact one that Jay Leno test drove it tends to make you at least a little bit nervous.
