So after discovering that the head of my car shuns all threads I finally decided to helicoil all the exhaust studs.

Good god I am not going through that again (and I shouldn't ever have to).

Dude, tell me about it.

I was nervous as fuck drilling/tapping the head with it still in the car, plus the shitty drill I found out back had the blue smoke of death coming out of the side vents every time I pulled the trigger.

But, I should never have to worry about stripping out a stud on that side of the motor again unless I go all hulk on it's ass.
