Would it fit?

I'm planning on buying 16" Konig Feather and azenis, make it ship to freeport fowarding (a place just before the border that can keep your shipped goods), make the duty and custom declaration myself, so I will not be raped by UPS and I got the free shipping to NY.

But how many tires will fit in the trunk (205/40/16) and wheels? I plan on remove the passenger seat, but I'm affraid to mis space. The tire won't be mounted... Unless I could find a place to mount them near of Champlain 12919

Any toughts?

I had to carry 4 195/50/16 mounted on wheels. I doubt you can even fit 1 in the trunk. 2 of mine were hanging over the edge with the trunk tied down. I had to take out the spare and put it behind the passenger seat and then put the other 2 wheels and tires on the seat.

If your carrying them unmounted I seriously doubt they will all fit. If you have a roll bar you can get creative with some straps. If you search miata.net they had a thread about carrying wheels and tires in the car, you might be able to find some useful info.

I have done exactly that, well minus the Canada part, and you will not fit it all unless you get very creative with your roll bar, if you have one.
I have 205/40-16 azenis on my car and i cannot fit one wheel with tire mounted in my trunk. A tire alone will fit in the trunk, or two wheels unmounted, you just don't have the depth in there.
With seat out, it just might work, you will have to lose all the boxes though I'm sure.

Go pick them up in a different car/truck. Got a buddy to take the trip with? If so ask if he'll drive. That's my advice, I don't think you have a chance fitting all 8 pieces.

You should be able to fit them...take out the spare tire...the jack holder in the back...have the top down etc....

you can fit it in the trunk, cant close it...or come close.

If you can get 2 wheels without tires in the trunk, I'm pretty sure you can get it to all fit with no passenger seat. Just be ready to try a few ways to get them to fit. And you will for sure have to loose the boxes.

Do you have a roll bar? Maybe bring some tie downs and take your hard top off before going and simply strap a bunch to your roll bar, I could see that working decently.

Wow! Thanks for all the answers!

I'll give try with my old 17" tires/wheels this week-end. If it doesn't wokrs, I'll take a friend pick up.

you wont be able to fit them if they are unmounted and you don't have a rollbar. You can fit two to three without a passager seat, depending on depth.

You won't be able to fit the a whole whell mounted in the trunk with it able to close.

If you have a rollbar then you can strap them to the bar. At a few events we have straped four rim with tire to a roll bar, one in the trunk and one in the passager seat(we could have fit one more in the seat but there were only 6).

If I was you with my bar, I would strap two rims to the roll bar, one rim in the trunk and one on the passager floor, then strap two tires to the roll bar and two tires on the rims in the cabin area.

Good luck, oh take photos please

Lol, no I don't have a rollbar, it's an other thing that I'm planniong to buy. And even if I had one, I would not feel safe to strap 4 wheels on it and make 190 miles of highway! The truck will be the solution.

Yea 190 miles, I wouldn't feel safe either, we were going 40 miles, in a pack. Good choice, get some pictures of the car once the wheels are mounted.

You could do...
Take out seat

One under glovebox
Two on floor (where seat was)
One on shelf

Worked for me in san diego... Just don't hit bumps
