I have always had the idea of doing a honda swap into an old mini in the back of my mind. It is so low on the list of cool things I would want to do that I know it would never happen.

Eh, I'd rather have a classic engine mini. That honda engine has to be messing up the weight distribution. And weren't people able to get some serious power out of those tiny engines back in the day?

Another thing to remember about the mini, the stock suspension uses rubber bands (I shit you not) instead of springs. Can be made to handle amazingly for a fwd pos, but not even remotely comfortable. This car looks to have coil overs though.

Show me the rubberbands you speak of. They have rubber "cones" but no bands.

Ahe A-series engines are crap that belongs in a tractor. And if you consider serious power to be like <120whp out of a fully bored/stroked/tuned engine, then yeah, serious power!

Bands, cones, same thing right? 120 hp out of that baby engine in that tiny car is some serious power.

I would rather have that in a geo metro then a mini, but this is still a pretty cool swap.
